Launches ‘India Operations'

$ 287.4 million Giant announces aggressive marketing plans for the premium healthcare sector in India -

OSIM International Ltd. a $ 287.4 million company and Singapore's largest manufacturer of lifestyle and health care products today launched its ‘India Operations' in an exclusive tie up with Delhi based Paramount Surgimed Ltd . OSIM International Ltd. currently operating in around 20 countries with over 520 outlets is fast becoming global leader in lifestyle and health related products. The event also marked the speculator unveiling of OSIM's internationally acclaimed and highly celebrated Rs. 2.70 lakh Massage Chair - iSymphonic , which has been voted ‘ Invention of The Year' by Time Magazine by the Guest of Honour His Excellency Mr.See Chuk Mun .

Mr. Ron Sim, founder & CEO, OSIM INTERNATIONAL, who has been adjudged ‘ Ernst &Young's Entrepreneur of the Year 2003' and Singapore Business Award's ‘ Businessman of the Year 2003' on his maiden visit to India launched shared his vision, plans and launch strategy for the Indian market and how OSIM International with its highly innovative healthy lifestyle products will revolutionize and redefine the premium health care sector in India.

Sharing the aggressive marketing plans of OSIM India , Mr. Shaily Grover , MD , OSIM India said , “We have earmarked a budget of 25 crores over the next 3 years in setting up 40 outlets across India and promoting the OSIM brand. OSIM India plans to open 10 outlets by the end of this fiscal. After Delhi, we will target the cities of Mumbai, Kolkata, Punjab, Bangalore and Chennai among others.”

OSIM , after stupendous success in Singapore, Taiwan, Hong-Kong, China etc. with 16 franchisee all over the world has now launched ‘IndiaOperations'. Their business currently comes under 4 complimentary focuses, which are: Health focus, Hygienic focus, Nutrition focus and Fitness focus . OSIM health lifestyle products include Massage Products ( massage chairs , foot reflexology rollers, handheld massagers), Nerve Stimulators (iSense, ProTherapist) , Diagnostic Products (Blood pressure monitors, VF Scan, weight & measuring scales) Nebulisers and many others.
